| Preparing For Surgery - Guidelines |

Once your surgery is scheduled, our staff begins communicating with you and your physician. A pre-admission nurse may call you at least 1 day before your surgery to understand your specific needs, concerns and health history based on which the nurse would sketch out special instructions respectively and answer your questions. |

Please do inform the nurse all the medications you are currently taking including vitamins, and herbal medications. Kindly ensure to call the center at 813-463-9762 no. later than the day prior to your surgery. |

|
|
If you observe any changes in your health, including cold, fever, or a scratchy throat, kindly do make a call to your physician and the Surgery Center at 813-463-9762 as soon as possible. |
|
|
|
If you are undergoing General Anesthesia, AN ADULT FAMILY MEMBER OR COMPANION MUST STAY WITH YOU for at least the first 24 hours after your surgery. |
